Moulding

The moulding department consists of as many as 30 injection moulding machines, ARBURG and NEGRI BOSSI, ranging from units of 25 to 370 tons, with the possibility of producing artefacts of up to 1000 grams of weight.
The injection moulds mount, in most cases, operating robotic systems involved in every level of the production process, from the loading of raw material to moulding, to the evacuation and separation of scrap from the finished product.
In RO.BIA.PLAST ultrasonic welding and pad printing are also performed. Ultrasonic welding is a type of welding required to assemble the most items; pad printing is used to affix logos, written details, indications and various warnings requested by customers onto artefacts.
