Design of new products
The RO.BIA.PLAST design office studies the design and characteristics of the new household appliances.
It is complex work based on the end customer’s requirements, assessed to develop new technological solutions to integrate into the cleaning products.
The use of modern 3D software enables Ro.Bia.Plast to drastically reduce the Time to Market to design all the parts used in its household appliances.
Mould design and building
Mould design follows the study of the moulds used to create the parts of the product. The processes will be carried out on the company’s own CNC machine tools. lathes, drills, plunge and wire electrical discharge machining.
The moulding division is composed of over 30 ARBURG and NEGRI BOSSI injection presses, ranging from 35 to 70 tonnes, with the possibility of moulding manufactured parts weighing up to 1000 grams.
The injection presses assembly, in most cases, robotic operating systems that intervene at every level of the manufacturing process.
The assembly operations for each product takes place on specifically designed lines. The qualified staff can avail of workstations with all the necessary equipment to guarantee high ergonomic standards to maintain the high levels of quality required in the assembly processes.
100% of the finished household appliances are tested both using practical tests on correct functioning and using specific machines for functional testing of the electrical system.
Ro.Bia.Plast is certified according to standard UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, the quality management system that aims to continuously improve the company.
The control tools used guarantee an end product manufactured with maximum precision according to the quality and safety standards.
